Trapper Schoepp
Trapper Schoepp is a singer-songwriter carrying forward the tradition of American folk and rock music. In 2019, the Milwaukee artist published the long-lost song “On, Wisconsin” with Bob Dylan—making him the youngest musician to share a co-writing credit with the Nobel Prize laureate. The song sparked a #1 trending article in Rolling Stone and led to over a hundred tour dates worldwide.
His 2025 album Osborne traces his path through addiction and chronic pain while exploring a bold new sound shaped by vintage drum machines, synths, and distorted guitars. A seasoned touring artist, Schoepp has spent the last decade sharing stages with artists including The Wallflowers, The Jayhawks, Frank Turner, and Old 97’s, performing across the U.S. and internationally.

Led by pianist, arranger, and bandleader David Wake, the group brings together exceptional musicians whose dynamic percussion, jazz harmony, and expansive arrangements invite both deep listening and joyful dancing.
Drawing from the rich musical traditions of the African diaspora and the Americas, De La Buena creates a powerful live experience that celebrates rhythm, culture, and connection. The band was co-founded with the late percussionist Cecilio Negrón Jr., whose spirit continues to shape the band’s sound and legacy.
