WHO WE ARE
Rock the Green is brought to life because of its many volunteers. These people lend their talents and time to make Rock the Green successful. Their dedication and passion for the environment, music and the community is what makes our mission real. Here are some of those people [though there are many more]:

Lindsay Stevens, Founder & Executive Director
Lindsay is a seasoned event marketing and production expert with 25 years of experience with record promotion and development and execution of large-scale brand driven events. Lindsay’s career began in the music industry in 1994 when she joined the radio promotion department at an independent record label in Boulder, CO. Lindsay then charted her own course in record promotion by creating an indie record promotions agency, LuLu Promotions Inc., who’s first client was The Dave Matthews Band. After several years in Boulder, CO, she relocated to San Francisco in 1998 and joined a lifestyle marketing agency as Vice President of Events & Touring. As a full service marketing agency specializing in action sports, music, and lifestyle marketing, Lindsay produced numerous campaigns and events for Nike, Sega, Budweiser, SoBe, K2, Red Bull, Ford and many other companies to promote and produce a wide array of music festivals, concert tours, promotional campaigns, sporting events, gaming competitions, launch parties and more.
As a large-scale event producer that produced hundreds of events, tours, and festivals around the country, Lindsay understood that these types of events generated tons of waste and wanted to create a festival that was different – one that looked at every aspect of production and greened it step-by-step, from the ground up. By making conscious production decisions and using innovative energy/waste techniques, we CAN have all of the music without the waste. Lindsay envisioned the Rock the Green festival as an example and an educational opportunity for the community’s music fans. It was from this vision that Rock the Green was born!

She is back again this year to round up Milwaukee’s fastest and strongest on the road to power up local electrifying bands and also coordinates the pedal power for RTG's annual Earth Day Celebration in April.
Eileen is one of the founders of The Velo Femmes, Milwaukee’s advanced female cycling team which provides a training hub for fast women cyclists who choose to compete, race, and/or participate in endurance rides in nearly every cycling discipline.
